History
Aspen Woods was established as a neighborhood in 2001, on land annexed to the City of Calgary in 1956. Many homes in the community date back to just 2004. Once nothing but rural farmland, real estate in Aspen Woods is rapidly becoming Calgary suburbs, the area mainly comprised of new upscale properties. This quiet, spacious neighborhood has a great future.
Location
A developing neighborhood in Calgary's west end, Aspen Woods is located between 17th Avenue and Richmond Rd, west of 69th Street. Access to downtown Calgary from Aspen Woods is quick and easy via 17th Avenue SW, which runs just north of this SW neighborhood. Located just on the North side of 17th Avenue, Aspen Woods provides great access to those who work in the Downtown of Calgary via 17th Avenue as well as Bow Trail further to the North.
